Residential Services
Oak Harbor East Utilities, LLC is your water and sewer service provider.
Water and sewer service rates are as follows:
Water
- $16.00 minimum charge for 4,000 gallons
- $1.75 per each additional 1000 gallons
Sewer
- Based on 90% of water consumed with a $16.00 minimum/no maximum
Garbage Collection
- $27.00 flat rate
Other Fees
- $1.00 Department of Health and Hospital
- 5% Parish Franchise Fee on Water and Sewer
- 7.75% Fire Flow Fee on Water
Payment
Mail payment to 500 Lakeshore Blvd. North, Slidell, LA 70461 or Place payment in drop box next to the mail box at 500 Lakeshore Blvd North
Delinquency period of 60 days
If services must be disconnected, a reconnection fee of $35.00 will be charged. Reconnection will be made only during work hours. Monthly statements are mailed by the 30th of each month and are due by the 20th of the following month. Failure to receive a bill does not release customer from obligation to pay. A 5% charge will be added to each account not paid by the 20th.
Garbage and trash collection
Service is provided by Coastal Environmental Services of LA. Garbage and trash collection days are Tuesday and Friday. Problems or questions regarding your service can be addressed by calling (985) 781-3171.
*PLEASE NOTE: Customers with grinder pumps are responsible for all maintenance and repairs to their units.
